Welcome, I am Tito Valentín!

Yo! Ok, I love to tinker! I'm not sure what to say about myself other than you'll get to know me by following my work here or on one of the other social media platforms. I guess I'll dive in a tiny bit about me so here it is:

My first computer back in 1995 had Slackware v1 installed, though I later tested Windows 3.x and used Word Perfect along with Harvard Graphics! I didn't start with Microsoft Windows or Apple. It was painful learning Linux but it was an AMAZING experience!

In 2000, I graduated high school and I entered the enterprise world as a Solaris Sys Admin; thanks Uncle Ron for starting me early! I later became a Red Hat Sys Admin. I've been in the industry since then doing lots of fun stuff for different organizations and companies.

My passion, however, is in retro electronics (game consoles & computers), UNIX/Linux, as well as home automation. I'll share all of that here! I also do some car stuff so I may add a thing or two about that as well.

Oh, and if you care, my main computer is a System76 Thelio Major r2.1 running Fedora! I love FOSS! I also have a Mac and Windows rig, I'm pretty agnostic!

I'll end this self-description with, I have a passion for technology, especially taking a look back where things were to how they function today. I'm a professional Senior Engineer by day but not by night and don't pretend to be but I am passionate about the things I do.

I'm a big fan of Open Source Software and Hardware and UNIX/Linux will forever be my go-to for most computing things, where appropriate.
